Hope this is the right catergory. Anyway, as I get closer to finishing my GT150 rebuild I'm looking to recreate the original style seats as accurately as possible. I'm wrapping up the project and have really appreciated all the knowledge shared here its been a huge help. I've searched quite a bit but haven't found any detailed plans or patterns. Does anyone have a guide or any tip on how to build seats that stay true to the originals? Any advice please?

You should look for marine grade vinyl with the right grain and make sure the plates are heat pressed or stitched. If you can reuse the foam do that. If you want, you can look for templates in some shops that specialize in vintage bikes. I'm curious to see how that looks, please send some pics when you finish :)
