I'm looking for a speedometer for my dad's 1977 CVX16. I'd appreciate getting leads about the size, brands and shops I can check.

@KennyBower oh, I have the Glastron CVX16, not really the same year, but close. you need a 3.375" diameter marine speedometer. I use Faria Beede, it's reliable, and available in Pitot tube or GPS. but there are other good brands out there, the aftermarket ones, like Sierra, are also great

The '77 CVX16 typically uses a 3-3/8" speedometer, look for vintage-style units from Teleflex or Faria, you can also try eBay, Great Lakes Skipper, or MarineEngine for good leads.

A couple of years ago I saw a Glastron from that era, not sure what model it was, but it had gauges from Classic Instruments and they looked sick, although they might have been custom, not sure.
