Glastron GT-150 steering upgrade

The boat is fully stock. The previous owner mentioned about upgrading the steering and I'm guessing he's on the right track, there are plenty of advantages over the old mechanical system. With that said, I'm not sure which kits are good and which ones should I go for. Any recommendations?

A hydraulic steering kit is definitely a solid upgrade over the old mechanical setup, gives you smoother control and less effort at the wheel. Popular options people often go with are SeaStar or BayStar, depending on your boat size and engine, so i'd look into those and match the kit to your horsepower and usage
